Our Novice and Atom Spring Series offers players the opportunity to keep building their skills. Over the course of 8 sessions in April and May, players will participate in evening skills sessions that focus on skating, edge work, shooting, stick skills, and offensive habits with instruction from college and junior players. The skill work then transitions into full-ice, 4-on-4 game play to further skill development with the pressure of game scenarios.
Why 4-on-4 versus 3-on-3?
4-on-4 creates a little less room on the ice and allows each player to make quicker decisions. It offers more game-like situations and pressure while still having enough room to make plays and be creative.
By limiting registration to 2 teams of 12 players plus goalie per age group, we maximize our time on the ice. Boys and girls are welcome.
